Tummy Liposuction: The Side Effects

Liposuction, as with any other type of cosmetic reconstructive surgery, can seem to be a real must for some people. But you shouldn’t forget that removing the fat from your body isn’t the same as just pouring water from a glass.
The process of tummy liposuction can seem to be very easy and simple, but it’s not. After liposuction, many side effects can occur, especially if it was done by a poor professional.
The skin on your tummy can become uneven and flabby — it’s the most usual and harmless (yet not a very aesthetic) side effect of liposuction. This happens because our skin isn’t usually elastic enough to “tighten” soon after the liposuction procedure. Besides, the removed fat cells don’t regenerate, but the cells that weren’t removed can become bigger (there’s much space for them now!), making your skin look uneven and old.
Tummy Liposuction: The Side EffectsThere are many examples of this kind of side effect of liposuction. Tara Reid’s tummy liposuction is perhaps the brightest example today. Here are a couple of other photos of her: check out this and this.
The rehabilitation period after a liposuction procedure is very long and difficult. You can suffer from high temperature for a month or even longer. And the bruises also won’t hurry to disappear from your skin. All your body will hurt during several weeks, making it very difficult to move or even to sleep.
As for the most serious side effects, blood clots and anemia can occur, since when you remove a big amount of fats, serious inner changes take place in your body (which affect your organs and tissues as well). A blockage of vessels with small lumps of fat (that haven’t been drawn into a vacuum pump) is also possible and very dangerous.
If you’re not afraid of all the side effects of liposuction and still want to do it, make sure you find the best center for cosmetic surgery in your town with the best cosmetic doctors.
